We are looking for a Houdini FX Artist to join our team.  

Your responsibilities:

  • Create procedural environment assets in Houdini (houses, rocks, landscapes, vegetation, roads, cities);
  • Develop procedural systems for assets and levels;
  • Integrate Houdini assets and tools into game engine pipelines;
  • Collaborate with artists and level designers to build cohesive environments;
  • Maintain and support the Houdini digital asset library;
  • Provide ongoing support for the Houdini toolset.

Our candidate should have:

  • Strong expertise in Houdini, including the VEX language;
  • Proven experience in environment modeling (procedural assets, architecture, natural objects);
  • Solid understanding of game development pipelines and experience working with game engines;
  • Portfolio with successful procedural environment asset projects;
  • Previous experience in game development companies or creating content for games.

The advantage will be:

  • Knowledge of 3ds Max;
  • Experience integrating Houdini tools into other 3D applications;
  • Broad technical background (scripting, tool development).
