IT Operations
IT Support / System administrator
We're looking for a System Administrator to join our IT Support team, helping employees work comfortably with their hardware, corporate services, and access permissions.
We have a large distributed team — many people work remotely from different cities and countries, so IT support for us isn't a formality, it's a core part of the company's daily operations. Requests come in through internal chats and our service desk: we investigate the issue, help the user, and log the resolution in tickets.
The work is varied and hands-on: VPN and access issues today, setting up a laptop for a new hire tomorrow, helping with Jenkins, email, or a corporate service the day after. This role suits someone who enjoys digging into problems, helping people, and seeing the results of their work.
One particularly interesting part of our infrastructure is our large Jenkins/build farm: 200+ Windows, Linux, and macOS build nodes, plenty of powerful hardware on AMD Threadripper / Threadripper Pro, GPU machines, macOS/Xcode nodes, and build and test environments. If you're interested in more than fixing user laptops and want to gradually get into development engineering infrastructure, there's room for that here.
What you'll be doing:
- Receiving and processing employee requests via internal chats and the service desk
- Helping colleagues remotely with Windows, Linux, and macOS workstations
- Setting up new workplaces: laptops, PCs, monitors, peripherals, VPN, required software, and access
- Participating in onboarding and offboarding: preparing equipment, granting/revoking access, handling equipment handover
- Handling typical VPN, remote access, DNS, and connectivity issues, escalating complex network incidents to specialists when needed
- Managing access to corporate services: YouTrack, Confluence, Nextcloud, Gerrit/Jenkins, Tableau, email, corporate chats, and other internal tools
- Helping with email: aliases, mailing lists, mail clients, full mailboxes, spam, and similar issues
- Diagnosing and resolving issues with work software, antivirus, OS updates, and basic security
- Diagnosing hardware issues: laptops, PCs, monitors, headsets, components, server and network equipment
- Helping with build/dev infrastructure: Jenkins nodes, build machines, git checkout issues, access to test stands and internal services
- Maintaining tickets, documenting resolutions, and communicating clearly with users
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in IT Support or system administration
- Experience providing remote user support
- Confident knowledge of Windows and client OSes
- Basic understanding of Windows Server, AD/LDAP, groups, access rights, and corporate accounts
- Basic Linux: installation, configuration, troubleshooting, working with logs, networking, and shell commands
- Basic understanding of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
- Ability to diagnose common network issues: service not opening, VPN not working, unstable connection, DNS problems
- Ability to diagnose issues with workstations, software, and hardware
- Attention to detail in ticket handling and follow-through to resolution
- Calm and clear written communication skills
- Russian — fluent, English — B1+ for reading documentation, logs, and communicating with services
Nice to have:
- Experience handling requests via chats, helpdesk systems, or internal service desks
- Experience configuring or supporting VPN clients: OpenVPN, WireGuard, v2ray, or similar
- Experience supporting Jenkins, build nodes, or other dev infrastructure
- Understanding of Git/Gerrit and common development issues: access, checkout, permissions, certificates, tokens
- Experience with Confluence, YouTrack, Nextcloud, Tableau, or similar corporate services
- Experience with macOS
- Ability to write simple scripts to automate routine tasks
- Understanding of basic information security: antivirus, access control, MFA, tokens, suspicious emails
Why it might be interesting to work with us:
- A wide variety of tasks, not a repetitive "reinstall the driver" queue
- The chance to work with a modern distributed infrastructure and internal services
- Direct contact with developers, QA, managers, and other teams
- Room to gradually grow into build/dev infrastructure, Jenkins, and automation
- The ability to influence how support is organized: improving processes, documentation, and routine operations
- A team that values calm communication, independence, and a genuine desire to understand problems
- Results are visible quickly — when IT works well, people can genuinely focus on their own work
- No bureaucracy or micromanagement
- We provide equipment for work, and private health insurance
Who we're looking for:
We need someone who can support users remotely: quickly understand a problem from a message, ask the right clarifying questions, engage with the solution, and follow through to resolution. It's important not to get lost in a busy, varied stream of tasks — on a single day there might be VPN, a laptop, YouTrack access, email, Jenkins, and a broken monitor all at once.
