Legal Intern

Gaijin develops and publishes AAA-grade online games for PC, consoles and mobile platforms, including the popular MMO "War Thunder," Crossout,” "Enlisted" and other games.  

Gaijin team consists of hundreds of talented game developers from all over Europe and is constantly growing.

We are looking for a Legal Intern.

Key responsibilities:

  • Legal management job: contract management, assistance to employment governance, handling intellectual property, corporate and compliance matters, collaborating with external counsels, interactions with governmental and supranational authorities, including by making applications for various legal registrations, etc.
  • Preparing standard template-based service contracts, annexes, certificates, and related paperwork. Help in drafting non-standard contracts from scratch and proofreading.
  • Drawing up and verifying various types of NDAs, authorizations, and legal letters.
  • Administrative support to the legal team: monitoring corporate emails, doing legal translations, sustaining corporate registers, communicating with notaries, archiving, etc.
  • Content takedowns (DMCA, etc.) and pre-litigation, responding to internal and external inquiries.Legal research (including legislation and case law updates).
  • A bunch of other full-range advising and paperwork, typical for a videogame company:).

Our requirements:

  • Fluent English – from C1 (!). Proficient Russian.
  • Understanding IP and common-law contracts, fundamentals of EU, US, or English law, i.e. in the mentioned fields.
  • Well-developed habit of rapid and simultaneous processing of multiple documents and tasks, strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel), and proficient PC user (crucially important for our job, not a boilerplate requirement!).
  • Proven interest in the videogame industry is a great plus. “Just gamers” are also very welcome!
