Legal Counsel (Middle/Senior)

We are looking for a Corporate Legal Counsel to join our team. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing full-range legal support for the Group Company’s business;
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements: various IP, marketing, services contracts, loans, etc.;
  • Preparing various public documentation: ToS, EULA, promo offers, etc.;
  • Advising on IP and contract law of different jurisdictions;
  • Participating in due diligence checks (IP-related deals);
  • Preparing various intercorporate agreements (e.g., license, asset purchase, services contracts);
  • Providing full-range legal support on data protection compliance (including GDPR, CDPA, COPPA, etc.), i.e., drafting/reviewing privacy policies, DPAs, and other privacy documents, conducting legal research, supporting due diligence and audits, and responding to external privacy inquiries;
  • Legal research (including legislation/case law updates and videogames related issues);
  • A bunch of other full-range advising and paperwork, typical for a videogame company.

Our requirements:

  • At least 5 years PQE, including in the common law IP contracts;
  • Fluent English - C1 (!);
  • Advanced knowledge of intellectual property and contract law in common law jurisdictions and on the EU level is a must;
  • Well-developed habit of rapid and simultaneous processing of multiple documents and tasks, strong skills in MS Office (Word), and proficient PC user (crucially important, not a boilerplate requirement!);
  • Proven interest in the videogame industry is an extreme advantage. “Just gamers” are also very welcome:).
