We are looking for an M&A Analyst to join our team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence of potential M&A transaction targets;
  • Prepare detailed due diligence reports, highlighting key financial metrics, risks, and opportunities;
  • Perform in-depth investment analysis and financial modeling to support decision-making in buy-side transactions;
  • Conduct valuation of potential M&A targets using various methodologies including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions;
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, tax, and operational teams to facilitate smooth transaction execution;
  • Develop and contribute to the creation and enhancement of corporate M&A processes and best practices including setting-up the investment evaluation process from the ground-up;
  • Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of portfolio investments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and identifying opportunities for value creation and operational improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field;
  • Fluent in English and Russian;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial due diligence, investment analysis, or M&A advisory. Previous experience in valuation / M&A departments of Big Four or a similar large organization is advantageous;
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with a keen attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions;
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and M&A transaction processes;
  • Knowledge of IFRS and management accounting and experience in preparing primary financial statements are a plus;
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively;
  • Experience in or exposure to the game development industry or related sectors would be a significant advantage;
  • Flexibility in work environment, and openness to remote work arrangements.
