Tax Manager

Gaijin develops and publishes AAA-grade online games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms, including the popular MMO "War Thunder," Crossout,” "Enlisted" and other games.

We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our Finance Team.

Key responsibilities:

  • provide advisory for the Group Company’s business as a sole tax advisor;
  • develop and implement tax strategies and internal policies to optimize the company's tax position globally;
  • ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations;
  • guide on tax strategies and implications related to M&A and restructuring within the Group Company;
  • manage external tax advisors and auditors within various jurisdictions;
  • participate in due diligence and audits on tax and general finance matters;
  • keep track of tax law changes, timely and efficiently implement them.

Our requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a tax manager (being a sole or lead advisor is preferable);
  • fluent English - C1 (!); Greek or Hungarian are a great plus;
  • comprehensive understanding of tax law and compliance, knowledge of relevant case law in multiple jurisdictions (EU, US, UK; CIS is an advantage), advanced expertise in international tax;
  • strong management and communication skills;
  • ability to rapid and simultaneous processing of multiple tasks, strong skills in MS Office, proficient PC user;
  • proven interest in the videogame industry is an extreme advantage. ‘Just gamers’ are also very welcome :)
