We are looking for an experienced technical writer, fluent in both Russian and English, ready to contribute to the Dagor Engine project.
Dagor Engine is our unique open-source project used in the development of popular games like "War Thunder" and "Enlisted."
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation for Dagor Engine, including API, SDK, guides, and technical articles.
- Developing and updating documentation for developers and users.
- Collaborating with the development team to gather necessary information and ensure the documentation's relevance.
- Conducting revisions and updates to existing documentation in line with project changes and updates.
Our Expectations from Candidates:
- Experience as a technical writer in IT, software development, or the gaming industry.
- Independent development of technical documentation.
- Deep understanding of technical concepts and the ability to present complex information in a user-friendly manner.
- Knowledge of modern "doc as code" documentation approaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Russian and English.
- Previous experience with documentation related to game engines or similar projects would be a significant advantage.
