Gaijin Entertainment announces that the console demo of Active Matter, the upcoming hardcore online shooter, is now available on Xbox Series X|S as a part of the Indie Selects Demo Fest. Players can download the demo from the Microsoft Store and enter the fractured multiverse from today until June 30. An Xbox Game Pass subscription is not required to play.
The Active Matter demo lets console players experience dangerous raids, fight for valuable rewards, complete contracts, and extract with their hard-earned loot. It includes every game mode planned for the full version, giving players a broad look at the game’s tense survival-driven action. All progress earned during the demo will be saved and carried over to the full Xbox version when the game launches, allowing players to keep the rewards and experience they earn during the trial period.
The early version of Active Matter is already available for PC players via Gaijin Store, and will come to Steam later in 2026, followed by the release on consoles. Xbox players are welcome to add the game to their Xbox wishlist to follow the game updates. Community impressions during the demo will help the development team continue improving the game ahead of release.
