Gaijin Entertainment and Matter Team are happy to announce that Active Matter preorders have already started at Gaijin Store. There are three editions (Advanced, Premium and Elite Squad) to choose from, each of them including access to the early version of the game and an initial arsenal of weapons, gear and other content to start your adventure with - ranging from sniper rifles, special ammo and armor plates to scout drones and robo-dogs. The early version of Active Matter will become available to the purchasers of any of the editions on September, 9th at Gaijin Store. There will also be a Standard edition of the game, that will be sold on September 9th and beyond. The Steam and console versions will come in 2026.
Active Matter is a hardcore military online PvPvE, PvE and PvP shooter set in a multiverse shattered by a quantum catastrophe. Each player controls an operative stuck in a time loop, always brought back from the dead to the same point, and enters quantum unstable zones rich with active matter - a substance capable of warping and ripping the very fabric of space and time. The new Active Matter trailer premiered at Future Games Show on August 20th showcases the typical gameplay situations that players will encounter in the multiverse.
The early version of Active Matter at Gaijin Store is an exclusive opportunity to play the game before the official launch on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox. This special version includes work-in-progress content for those who would like to try it before anyone else and influence the game development by providing feedback to the developers. There is also a preorder-exclusive bonus: an extra unique skin available only for those who preorder one of the game editions before September, 9th.
